Merih Demiral trained with the Juventus team for the first time since completing his €18m move from Sassuolo this month.

Demiral took part in his first training session with his new teammates.

The Turkey international star has been included in Maurizio Sarri’s first team for the pre-season.

Sarri has yet to comment on whether Demiral will be part of his plans next season as a first-team player.

There have been rumors that the 21-year-old could be loaned out next season to gain more first-team experience but it appears he will not be leaving this summer.

Demiral’s representatives have informed Turkish-Football that they intend for the young defender to stay at Juventus this summer.

The 1.92m tall centre-back enjoyed a meteoric rise last season.
