Arsenal star playmaker Mesut Ozil has wished his followers a happy Ramadan.
The month of Ramadan – where followers fast during daylight hours – began on Thursday and lasts one month.
Arsenal shared a photo of Mesut Ozil praying and included, “All of us at #Arsenal would like to wish a blessed #Ramadan to everyone celebrating.”
Ozil has been included in Joachim Lows preliminary World Cup squad and is expected to travel to Russia.
The 29-year-old registered 14 assists, five goals in 35 appearances for Arsenal this season.
