Germany international of Turkish origin Mesut Ozil got his name on the scoresheet and had a message for Arsenal fans after the game.
Ozil revealed that the Gunners are fighting to qualify for Champions League football next season.
The North London based outfit will be hoping Liverpool drop points against West Ham today.
A Hammers victory would give a huge boost to Arsenal’s chances of a top-four finish which would ensure Champions League football.
The Gunners have finished in the top-four for the past 20 seasons.
