Arsenal star playmaker Mesut Ozil has sent out a message to the Qarabag FK following the Gunners Europa League win.
Unai Emery’s side registered a 3-0 win over the Azerbaijani giants with the goals coming from Sokratis, Smith Rowe and Guendouzi.
Ozil started the game on the bench but came on in place of Smith Rowe in the 65th minute.
The 29-year-old received a warm reception from the Qarabag fans. Following the final whistle, Ozil shared a photo of himself being greeted by local supports and thanked them for their hospitality.
“Such a warm welcome tonight … Thank you Olympic Stadium Baku.”
