“We’ll see, I don’t know,” Wenger told a press conference on Thursday morning.
“He should be OK.”
Despite being too ill to train, Ozil found time to promote his biography which is out on March 16 and share a picture of the book on his Instagram.
What was interesting was that Ozil looked pretty healthy in the picture. There could of course be a number of explanations.
Perhaps the Germany international of Turkish origin has made a full recovery and will be ready for the Liverpool game. It could have been taken some time in the past before Ozil caught his training ending illness. Or maybe he has an excellent makeup team.
Whatever the actual reason, Wenger will be hoping Ozil makes a full recovery in time for the Premier League clash against the Reds as a victory would ensure they stay in fourth place.
