Arsenal have revealed why star playmaker Mesut Ozil missed the weekend clash against West Ham United in the Premier League.
The Gunners released a tweet shortly before kick-off stating that Ozil was sidelined due to an illness.
The tweet also stated that Wilshere missed out due to an ankle problem while first-choice keeper Petr Cech missed out with a hip injury.

It is unclear whether the 29-year-old will be available for the mid-week Europa League clash against Atletico Madrid.
