Sead Kolasinac and Mesut Ozil were attacked by a knife-wielding moped gang in north London on Thursday.
A video clip showing the attack went viral on social media channels after being shared online.
They were driving along Golders Green Road in Ozil’s Mercedes G-Class 4X4 when the incident occurred.
Kolasinac confronted the attackers and managed to chase them off while his Arsenal teammate remained in the car with his newlywed wife Amine Gulse and Kolasinac’s wife.
They all managed to escape to a nearby Turkish restaurant while being chased by the attackers.
The restaurant staff helped chase the attackers away.
The Bosnia international and Ozil are both fine and unharmed.
Kolasinac shared a photograph of himself alongside Ozil on Twitter today.
The Arsenal duo are pictured smiling for the cameras and Kolasinac wrote the following: ‘Think we’re fine’.

Both players reported for training today.
A police investigation into the incident is currently ongoing.
