Photo: Tottenham loanee congratulates Fenerbahce youngster following his widely praised gesture

Tottenham loanee Vincent Janssen received widespread praise following his gesture to Fenerbahce youngster Ahmethan Kose in the 6-0 Turkish Cup victory over Adana Demir.

Janssen’s decision to allow the young striker Ahmethan to take his penalty earned him the respect of Fener supporters, pundits and his manager Aykut Kocaman.

Kocaman appeared to say, “Bravo Janssen, god bless you.”

Kose ended up scoring his first goal of the season in the process.

Janssen praised his roommate Kose on Twitter after the game and shared a photograph of the youngster and himself.


Kose also thanked Janssen after the game: “I just want to thank Janssen, he picked the ball up and gave it to me. We share the same room and have become close friends. He always told me I will start scoring.”
