Photo: Tottenham Striker Spotted On Highstreet With Orthopedic Boot, Fenerbahce Doctors Yet To Give Return Date

Tottenham striker Vincent Janssen has not played a competitive game for loan side Fenerbahce since December.

Janssen is however, back walking again with the aid of an orthopedic boot.

The Netherlands international was spotted walking around a high street in the well to do area of Nisantasi, Istanbul.

Bizarrely he distanced himself from a woman he was with and appeared to act like he did not know her.

Janssen’s agent Laros hopes his client will be back in action before the season ends.

Reports in Turkey claim that the edema on his right foot remains a problem.

An edema is an abnormal accumulation of fluid in certain tissues within the body, in this case Janssen’s foot.

The player gained almost 3 litres of fluid because of the edema, and this development has baffled club doctors.

The Yellow Canaries are unlikely to pursue a permanent deal for the 23-year-old when his loan expires in the summer due to his injury woes.

Janssen made the move to Tottenham from AZ Alkmaar for £17 million back in 2016.
