Liverpool loanee Loris Karius starred in his first Istanbul derby in the 1-1 draw between Besiktas and Fenerbahce on Monday night in the Super Lig.
Karius was widely praised for his display against the Yellow Canaries and was Man of the Match according to Whoscored.
The 25-year-old made several important saves for the Istanbul giants.
Karius issued his post-match response on Twitter after the game revealing he was disappointed not to leave Fenerbahce with all three points but that he tried his hardest to win the game.
The keeper also shared a photograph from the game.

Karius featured in his first European competition game since the Champions League final against Real Madrid when he started in goal for Besiktas in the Europa League versus Sarpsborg last week.
