It’s been a rough month for Arsenal star playmaker Mesut Ozil.
The 29-year-old has been harshly criticised by the German media after Germany crashed out of the 2018 World Cup.
Ozil retired from the national team on Sunday citing racism and discrimination.
The under-fire playmaker has however returned to pre-season training with Arsenal and appears to be in high spirits.
Ozil shared a photo of himself on social media and thanked the Arsenal fans in Singapour for their support.
“Thanks to the Gunners in Singapore for showing so much love tonight.”
