Galatasaray manager Cesare Prandelli expects a tough game against Anderlecht in Champions League Group D.
“I am anticipating a very tough match. Anderlecht are a young team, they know how to play and they have technical players. I like Anderlecht a lot but we are here to win,” Prandelli said.
“Being a footballer is a fantastic job – they only need to think of their opponents and when they run they do not feel the pressure. I hope tomorrow our fans will see a team doing everything to win with firm belief.
“We have to attack any spaces and create intensity. Whether we play with two or three forwards is not important; everything depends on our attacking attitude.
“Ultimately, we are [third] in the table in Turkey with one point fewer than the others; in the Champions League we need only a win to get back on track.”
The Lions currently sit at the bottom of Group D with just one point from four games.
Only BATE have conceded more goals than Galatasasaray’s 13 in the competition this sesaon.
