Fenerbahçe’s Dutch left-back Jayden Oosterwolde is reportedly attracting significant interest from the Premier League, with Newcastle United and West Ham United said to be among the clubs preparing bids according to Fotomac.
This speculation comes despite the 23-year-old having missed a substantial portion of last season due to injury.
Oosterwolde’s 2024/25 campaign was unfortunately cut short after he sustained a cross-tie injury during the Samsunspor match on October 20.
This injury sidelined him for a total of 43 matches, meaning he was unable to feature for the remainder of the season.

Despite this setback, the talented defender’s potential has not gone unnoticed. Earlier interest from Italian side Bologna and Spanish club Celta Vigo has now been superseded by concrete aspirations from English clubs.
Both Newcastle United and West Ham United are serious contenders for Oosterwolde’s signature and are in the process of formulating offers for Fenerbahçe.
Fenerbahçe acquired Oosterwolde from Italian club Parma in January 2023. A notable clause in that transfer agreement stipulates that 30% of any future profit from Oosterwolde’s sale will be remitted to Parma.
This factor will likely play a role in Fenerbahçe’s valuation of the player as they enter potential negotiations.
As Oosterwolde focuses on his recovery and prepares for the new season, the emerging interest from the Premier League could set the stage for a significant summer transfer saga.
