Preview: Konyaspor v Fenerbahce – Yellow Canaries desperate for reaction following Man Utd debacle

Fenerbahce take on Konyaspor hoping to put their 4-1 defeat against Manchester United well and truly behind them.

The Yellow Canaries are not in the best of form in the league and are currently languishing in 10th place – 11 points behind joint leaders Besiktas and Basaksehir.

Fenerbahce do however, have a game in hand and will have three key players returning in Jeremain Lens, Moussa Sow and Salih Ucan.

Ozan Tufan and Jose Fernandao have yet to recover from injury and Gregory van der Wiel has been dropped.

Konyaspor will be no pushovers. Aykut Kocaman was a Fenerbahce legend as a player and won the league title with the club as a manager as well. On top of that the Anatolian Eagles have yet to lose in their last 18 homes games in the league.

The home side have no major injury concerns and they have one of the most sturdy defences in the league with their last four games going Under 2.5 goals.

Konyaspor will not make it easy for Fenerbahce who will be desperate for a victory. The Eagles do have an impressive defensive record but six of their last seven home games against the Yellow Canaries have gone Over 2.5 goals and Fenerbahce are likely to take risks in order to record a victory considering the amount of pressure the team is under.

Prediction: Over 2.5 goals
