Wesley Sneijder has stated that he will sign a contract extension with Galatasaray when he returns to Istanbul.
The Netherlands international has revealed that he is happy with life in Istanbul and that he wants to stay.
“Currently I am on holiday relaxing after winning the double,” Sneijder is quoted as saying by DHA
“As soon as I return to Istanbul I want to extend my contract. My family and I are happy in Istanbul and feel like a part of Galatasaray.”

Both Manchester United and PSG were recently linked with the Netherlands international by the Metro.
The Istanbul giants are understood to be preparing a two-year extension on Sneijder’s contract which runs out in 2016.
Sneijder is coming off the back of his most productive season at Galatasaray since joining from Inter Milan in 2013.
The Galatasaray star recorded a total of 14 goals and six assists in all competitions including 10 league goals.
Sneijder scored the winning goal in the 2-0 win against Beşiktaş on Sunday 24 May which ended up clinching the Lions 20th league title.
The Netherlands international captain scored important goals in the Intercontinental derby against Fenerbahçe in the first half of the season.
