The former Real Madrid playmaker scored verses Watford in the league but is yet to record an assist this season.
Arsenal go into the game in good form following back-to-back wins over Watford FC and Southampton. The Gunners summer signing Granit Xhaka has been left on the bench while David Ospina has been selected ahead of Petr Cech.
PSG go into the clash having lost key names over the summer including Zlatan Ibrahimovic and David Luiz. Cavani starts up front for the Ligue 1 giants.
