Turkish Super Lig club Bursaspor are set to face major competition from Spain in the race to sign Chelsea defender Kenneth Omeruo.
The Green Crocodiles have been closely linked with a move for the Nigeria international over the past month.
We recently reported that Bursaspor vice-president confirmed the clubs interest in Omeruo.
Meanwhile, the Spanish outlet AS has stated that the La Liga club Leganes are leading the race to sign Omeruo this summer.
Per the source, Leganes want to sign the defender on a season-long loan deal.
Omeruo is expected to leave Chelsea before the transfer window in Europe slams shut at the end of the month.
The 24-year-old made the move to Chelsea back in 2012 but is yet to make a first-team appearance for the London based club.
Omeruo has spent the last three seasons in the Turkish Super Lig at Kasimpasa and Alanyaspor.
