Former Liverpool centre-back Martin Skrtel could link up with his former teammate Steven Gerrard once again at Rangers.
Gerrard was appointed Rangers boss earlier this month and is already looking to strengthen his side ahead of the upcoming pre-season.
According to the daily Turkish newspaper Sabah, Rangers have tabled an offer for Skrtel. The Slovakia international currently plays for Turkish Super Lig giants Fenerbahce.
Per the source, Rangers have tabled a £4 million bid for the 33-year-old however, Fenerbahce will not make a decision regarding the future of their star defender until the season ends.
The Yellow Canaries take on Konyaspor this weekend knowing they need a win to stand any chance of being crowned champions.
Skrtel has a little over 12 months remaining on his contract with Fenerbahce. The powerful defender joined the Istanbul based club from Liverpool for £5 million back in 2016. Skrtel played alongside Gerrard during his spell with the Reds.
