Turkish Super Lig giants Fenerbahce have tabled an offer for Rangers Colombian striker Alfredo Morelos.
According to Turkish outlet SporX, the Yellow Canaries have made a £2.6 million offer for the 22-year-old forward.
We recently reported that Fenerbahce director of football Damien Comolli flew to Scotland to hold face-to-face talks with Rangers.
Fenerbahce are keen to bolster their attacking options this summer after parting company with Fernandao and Vincent Janssen.
Morelos joined Rangers for just £1 million last summer from HJK Helsinki. The Colombian striker hit the ground running in Scotland and racked up 18 goals in his debut season at the Ibrox.
However, Morelos’ teammate Daniel Candeias believes Morelos has no interest in leaving the Scottish giants.
“Alfredo is important to Rangers and he is very happy now,” Candeias was quoted as saying by the Daily Record.
“I have told him to make sure he stays. I’ve told him it is important for the team.
“He scored a lot of goals last season. I’m sure at this moment he is only thinking about Rangers, not other clubs.”
Meanwhile, former Rangers striker John MacDonald believes Rangers should be cautious about selling their star striker this summer.
Fenerbahce are keen to wrap up their transfer dealings this early this summer ahead of the Champions League play-off round.
