Liverpool take on Roma in the Champions League semi-final first leg at Anfield next Tuesday.
Liverpool did crush Premier League champions Manchester City 5-1 on aggregate in the quarter-finals.
Roma meanwhile pulled off an impressive feat themselves knocking out Barcelona on away goals following a 4-4 aggregate draw after two legs.
The Reds head into the last-four clash as favorites but former Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri has revealed the weakness of the Merseyside based outfit.
The Italian manager feels it will be an even game but pointed out that Liverpool are not as ‘solid’ on the road.
Speaking to the La Gazzetta dello Sport, Ranieri said: “It’s going to be an even game, 50/50. As a manager I never think I can face defeat before I play. Di Francesco will study Liverpool. They are not beaten yet, the Roma side that we admired against Barcelona can make it. The Reds are spectacular but away from home they aren’t always solid.”
Ranieri was also full of praise for Liverpool star Mohamed Salah.
“As for Salah, you could understand he was a great player even when he was playing for Chelsea. Klopp’s mentality is perfect for him and playing for Fiorentina and Roma was very important for his career,” he added.
Salah joined Liverpool from Roma who replaced him with Cengiz Under.
The Turkey international already has six goals and two assists this season.
The 20-year-old scored on his Champions League debut in the 2-1 defeat to Shakhtar which eventually took Roma through on away goals.
The rising star nicknamed the new Salah also provided the assist that knocked out Barcelona on away goals.
Salah and Under are both expected to star for their respective sides next Tuesday.
