‘Ready’ – Liverpool Star Reacts To Man City Champions League Draw

The Premier League’s hopes of an all-English final were dashed following the UEFA Champions League draw at Nyon, Switzerland.

Liverpool drew Manchester City in the quarter-final draw on Friday.

The Reds will take on City for the first time in the competition.

Emre Can is also likely to make his first appearance in the quarter-final stage of the tournament.

The midfielder of Turkish origin gave his reaction to the draw on his official Instagram account.

Can shared a photograph dueling with a City player alongside a caption that said the Reds are ‘ready’.

The 24-year-old is not getting too carried away just yet and urged his side to focus on the Premier League clash against Watford on Saturday at Anfield Stadium first.

City beat Liverpool convincingly 5-0 at The Etihad earlier in the season but lost 4-3 at Anfield in January.

The Citizens are in the hunt for their first European Cup while Liverpool are hoping to win the competition for the sixth time.

The last time the Reds reached this stage was in 2009 when they were knocked out by Chelsea in another all English quarter-final.
