Real Madrid Boss Makes Feelings Clear About Arda Guler Future Amid Rumours of Exit

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti showered praise on young Turkish talent Arda Güler after his first goal for the club in a dominant 4-0 win over Celta Vigo.

The Turkish international had been linked with transfer rumours of an exit this summer after struggling for playing time.

Turkish-Football reported last week that there is no truth to reports that the player wants to leave or that the club informed him of plans that they want to let him go.

Ancelotti has also now publicly stated that he sees the attacking midfielder as having a long future at the club putting to bed rumours of an imminent exit.

Ancelotti said: “Arda Guler has a future here at Real Madrid. “He has played very little, but he was convinced that he could do something.

“He made a move of great skill. He is a great talent, he has improved a lot and plays with more intensity now. “He has a future here, no doubt about it.”

Despite Vinicius Junior opening the scoring early, the result remained in doubt until late own goals from Celta Vigo’s goalkeeper and Carlos Dominguez sealed the victory.

Güler, making his sixth appearance, truly put the icing on the cake by rounding the keeper and slotting home in stoppage time.

Ancelotti, impressed despite limited playing time for Güler, expressed his belief in the 19-year-old becoming a key figure for Real Madrid in the future.

The win extends Los Blancos’ lead at the top of La Liga to seven points, with a staggering +42 goal difference.

However, Ancelotti remains grounded, urging his team to maintain focus as they approach the season’s final stretch. He also expressed excitement for the return of injured players, further bolstering the squad’s strength.
