Real Madrid are interested in signing Galatasaray star striker Mauro Icardi according to Tuttomercato.
Per the source, the Vinicius Junior injury has seriously disrupted Real Madrid’s offensive system and the club is looking for a new striker.

Real are eyeing Icardi as a replacement in January to strengthen the attack.
Galatasaray reportedly value their star man as being worth €15m however, he is under contract until 2026 and the Lions want to at least keep him on until the end of the table.
Real would have to make an attractive offer to tempt Galatasaray into considering selling the striker.
Icardi has been linked to Real Madrid in the past, but the move has never materialized. It is now being reported that the signing is a request from Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti.
The 30-year-old Argentine striker who is currently playing for Galatasaray. He has a history of scoring goals and played an important role in the Lions lifting the Super Lig title last term.
The Argentine striker has been in great form for the Red-Yellows and has 15 goals and three assists in 20 appearances in all competitions for the club including five goals and one assist in the Champions League campaign.
Icardi scored a brace in the 3-2 victory over Manchester United at Old Trafford, the first time Galatasaray beat United away from home.
Galatasaray are currently in the Super Lig title race and are in contention to booking a place in the next round of the Champions League or at least qualifying for the Europa League.
The Lions are currently 3rd in Group A but tied on points with second placed Copenhagen and one point above last placed United.
