Real Madrid have reached an agreement with Turkish international playmaker Arda Güler to extend his contract until 2031, securing one of Europe’s premier young creative talents for the long term.

According to reports from Madrid-based daily AS, the two-year extension adds to Güler’s previous terms set to expire in 2029, marking his first official contract renewal since arriving at the Santiago Bernabéu.

Salary Increase and €100 Million Market Valuation

The new long-term deal includes a substantial wage adjustment reflecting Güler’s rapid rise from a promising depth option to a central component of Los Blancos’ starting XI.

Following reports of the agreement, football database website Transfermarkt officially updated the 21-year-old’s market valuation to €100 million ($112 million), up from his previous benchmark of €90 million.

Core Pillar Under José Mourinho’s Framework

The contract extension cements Güler’s evolving status under manager José Mourinho, who has trusted the Turkish starlet with primary creative duties on the right side and in central transition.

By locking down Güler through 2031, the Real Madrid hierarchy continues its strategic initiative to keep its young core untouchable, ensuring the club’s midfield generation remains bound to the Bernabéu through their peak years.
