Real Madrid midfielder Arda Güler has been nominated for the Kopa Trophy, an award recognizing the best young player in football.

The 19-year-old Turkish star is one of the contenders for the prestigious prize, which is awarded by France Football magazine.

Güler has impressed in his second season at Real Madrid, contributing to the team’s success in the Champions League, LaLiga, and Spanish Super Cup.

His outstanding performances for Real Madrid and Turkey at the European Championship have made him a strong candidate for the Kopa Trophy. Güler’s creativity, skill, and potential have earned him recognition as one of the most promising young talents in football.

The winner of the Kopa Trophy will be announced at the Ballon d’Or gala in Paris. Other nominees for the award include Curbasí, Garnacho, Konaté, Mainoo, João Neves, Savinho, Tel, Yamal, and Zaïre-Emery.

The Turkish international has seen his playing time increase this season and he has made four appearances in all competitions.

The attacking midfielder is currently on international duty for Turkiye who will face Wales on Friday 6 September and against Iceland on Monday 9 September in the UEFA Nations League.
