Javier Hernández scored the only goal in Real Madrid’s 1-0 win over Atletico Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium to book a place in the Champions League semi-finals.
The game was marred by Arda Turan being shown a red card for a second bookable offence in the second half.
The victory was Real’s first in their last seven meetings with the La Liga champions and ensured that the Spanish giants secured a last four finish for the fifth year in a row.
