Arda Güler has returned to Real Madrid training but he is just coming back from an injury and returning to match fitness. He is not expected to be available for the Granada match.

AS report that Güler is recovering well but that he is not expected back until the ‘turn of the year’.

It looks like we will have to wait until the end of the month or January for the attacking midfielder to make his debut for the club.

Güler has waited half the season to break into the team due to recurring injury problems but it does seem he is finally nearing a return.

The rising star first picked up an injury over the pre season US tour and has been injured twice since then.

Real Madrid will be without seven members of their first-team squad for their upcoming match against Granada.

Goalkeeper Kepa is back in training after recovering from an injury, but it is uncertain whether he will return to the starting lineup. Andriy Lunin has kept goal in Real Madrid’s last four matches.

With Güler, Thibaut Courtois, Eder Militão, Eduardo Camavinga, Aurélien Tchouaméni, Luka Modric, and Vinícius Júnior all injured, manager Carlo Ancelotti will be without eight of his 23 first-team players.
