Revealed: 14-goal Man City wonder-kid  will not be joining Fenerbahce, says agent

Man City wonder-kid Enes Unal has been closely linked with a loan move to Fenerbahce over the past few weeks.

Unal is currently on loan at FC Twente where he has hit the ground running scoring 14 goals and providing three assists in all competitions this season.

The Turkish international star is expected to spend next season on loan as well as he currently does not have a work permit to play in England.

Fenerbahce had emerged as one of the favourites to sign him on a temporary move but his agent Batur Altiparmak has denied the rumours.

“Enes has not received an offer from Turkey and we are not considering a return anyway,” Altiparmak was quoted as saying by Turkish-Football.

“Enes will stay in Europe, Twente want to keep him on for another season but nothing has been decided yet, we will meet with Manchester City and plan his future.”

Unal became the highest scoring Turkish international player in the Eredivisie when he netted his 12th goal of the season against Willem II.

The 19-year-old broke his own record last week scoring his 13th league goal against Roda.

Unal has been rewarded for his impressive goalscoring form with a call up to the Turkish national team.

The young striker is expected to start for Turkey against Finland in their World Cup qualification clash at the Antalya Arena.
