Manchester United are scouting Sporting Lisbon wonder-kid Merih Demiral, a source close to the player told Turkish-Football.
The Red Devils have been keeping tabs on the 19-year-old defender but could face competition for from Besiktas who have also been monitoring the youngster.

United and Besiktas scouts will be keeping tabs on Demiral today for the Turkish U19 national team against Portugal.
Turkey U19s take on Portugal U19s in the UEFA U19 Championships on Saturday 25 March.
The young defender has seven international caps for Turkey at U19 level.
Besiktas have a history of targeting up and coming Turkish players plying their trade in Europe.
The Black Eagles enjoyed great success bringing in the likes of Oguzhan Ozyakup, Gokhan Tore and Kerim Frei from Premier League sides over the past few seasons.
Demiral has a reputation as one of the most promising young defenders to emerge from Turkish football in recent years.
