Rizespor press officer Aykut Ferah told reporters that he believes that the Black Sea based side will start to turn things around.
Rizespor have lost six consecutive games and dropped into 17th place in the Süper Lig.
“We have a strong squad but we have to start producing results,” Ferah said.
“The team played well against Trabzonspor and Gaziantepspor but we were unable to secure any points.
“We need to stop losing, this run must come to an end.
“The game against Akhisar is huge for us, we want to get at least a point.
“Both teams want to win so let us see what happens.
“This club have big goals but the last six weeks have been like a nightmare, it is time to wake up from this bad dream now.”
Rizespor take on Akhisar away from home on Sunday.
