Rizespor Sign Mostapha El Kabir on a Two-Year Deal From Kalmar FF

Caykur Rizespor have completed the transfer of Mustafa El Kabir from Swedish side Kalmar FF.

The Super Lig based outfit have struck a two-year deal with an option to extend by an additional season.

El Kabir arrived in Turkey today and was greeted by a large group of Rizespor fans.

The 30-year-old was quoted by Fanatik as saying: “I want to thank everyone who turned out to greet me.

“I am really happy to be here and can’t wait to get started.”

El Kabir joined Kalmar FF on a free transfer from Ankaragucu in March after a pay dispute with the Super Lig outfit.

The striker is no stranger to Turkey having played for Genclerbirligi, Antalyaspor and Ankaragucu.

El Kabir is a Moroccan national but has never played for his country at international level.

Rizespor finished last season better than expected with Okan Buruk guiding the Black Sea based side to an 11th place finish.
