Former Galatasaray manager Roberto Mancini is set to take over at Serie A side Internazionale according to Sky Sports Italy reporter Gianluca Di Marzio.
Current Internazionale Walter Mazzarri is understood to be on the verge of being sacked and the Milan based club have reached a pre-agreement with Mancini.
Di Marzio broke the news via twitter. His tweet translates to, “Inter, Mancini is coming, here are the details.”
Mancini spent last season at Galatasaray and lead to Lion’s to a second place finish in the Turkish Super League.
The former Manchester City manager left the Istanbul giants following a disagreement with the club President Unal Aysal.
Mancini also lead Galatasaray to Turkish Cup glory last season with a win over Eskisehirspor in the final.
The 49-year-old coach managed Internazionale from 2004 until 2008 and won three Serie A titles during his spell at the Milan club.
Mancini has won a trophy with all five clubs he has managed.
