Roma Name Their Price For Arsenal Target Cengiz Under After Rejecting £35m Offer

Roma want £45m for Cengiz Under according to the Daily Star following growing interest from Arsenal, Chelsea and Bayern Munich.

Per the source, the price tag resulted in Chelsea and Bayern Munich dropping out of the race for the Turkey international.

Arsenal meanwhile are reportedly unlikely to return with an improved offer after having a £35m bid rejected.

The latest report has not been confirmed by the Gialorossi or Under’s representatives.

Eren Sarigul of Turkish-Football wrote that Arsenal, Bayern Munich and Tottenham are the three sides that are serious about signing Under in his most recent piece on the winger for ESPN.

The report dated from December does not mention Chelsea as having a keen interest, not compared to the other sides mentioned.

Under is unlikely to leave in January but a summer exit is looking increasingly likely as Roma have not offered a pay rise.

The Serie A outfit are under no rush to make a decision as the star winger is under contract at Roma until 2022.

The 21-year-old is one of the lowest paid members in the squad earning approximately €1m per-season.

The Roma starlet has been in impressive form this term scoring six goals and providing eight assists this season.
