The Giallorossi come into Tuesday night’s encounter following a comfortable 3-0 win over SPAL in the Serie A. Manager Eusebio Di Francesco cannot afford to take his eye off the ball in the league seeing that they are just one point ahead of fifth-placed Inter Milan.

Turkey international Cengiz Under was rested over the weekend and could be included in Roma’s starting eleven on Tuesday. The 20-year-old provided the assist for Manolas’ winning goal against Roma in the previous round.

Argentinian star Diego Perotti returned to fitness following a three-week absence and could feature against Liverpool. Defender Aleksandar Kolarov is a slight doubt due to a muscle injury.

Meanwhile, Rick Karsdorp and Gregoire Defrel are ruled out of the mid-week clash.
