Liverpool youngster Samed Yesil has stated that he is confident that he will be able to push though into the Red’s squad next season.
The former Bayer Leverkusen striker spoke about his future to the German tabloid newspaper Bild.
“I know my quality and trust myself, I’ll push through there (Liverpool). But for now, it is about collecting match practice with Luzern,” Yesil told Bild.
The 21-year-old is currently on loan at the Swiss Super League side FC Luzern who are managed by the former Liverpool defender Markus Babbel.
Babbel’s side find themselves in forth place in the league with 23 points in 16 games. Luzern take on Aarau in the league cup next and travel to Basel in their next Super League fixture.
Yeşil joined Liverpool from the German side Bayern Leverkusen back in 2012 for £1 million. The 21-year-old has made two assists and found the back of the net just once in eight appearances for Luzurn this season.
