Liverpool youngster Samed Yeşil has stated that he is excited at the prospect of working with the Red’s newly appointed manager Jurgen Klopp.
The 21-year-old spoke about Klopp to the German tabloid newspaper Bild.
“When I heard that he was coach, I thought, ‘oh how cool’. He is known to rely on young players,” Yesil told Bild.
Yeşil is currently on loan at the Swiss Super League side FC Luzern who are managed by the former Liverpool defender Markus Babbel.
Luzern find themselves in forth place in the league with 23 points in 16 games. Babbels side take on Aarau in the league cup next and travel to Basel in their next league fixture.
Yeşil joined Liverpool from the German side Bayern Leverkusen back in 2012 for £1 million. The 21-year-old has featured for all of Germany’s youth teams from Under-16 to U19 and he is available also to play for the Turkish national team.
