Samed Yesil reminisces about Liverpool days with Luis Suarez [divider]
Samed Yeşil reminisced back to the days when Luis Suarez played at Liverpool on his Instragram account.
Yeşil said shared an image training with Steven Gerrard and Luis Suarez with the capiton, “#throwback #oldbutgold #ynwa #lfc.”
Suarez joined Liverpool in 2011 and made 110 appearances before joining Barcelona for £75 million.
The Uruguayan international became the first Liverpool player to score thirty goals in a season since Fernando Torres in 2007/08
Yeşil has been training with the senior side recently after recovering from injury and is hoping to break into the first team.
The 20-year-old missed much of last season with an anterior cruciate ligament injury.
The young forward was born in Germany but his family originate from the Black Sea region of Turkey.
The Reds signed Yeşil from Bayer Leverkusen for €1 million last season and still has two-years left on his contract.
