Antalyaspor striker Samuel Eto’o has revealed that he believes Portuguese manager Jose Mourinho will not leave Chelsea.
Speaking to RMC Eto’o said: “I do not think Mourinho will leave Chelsea and he will get them back on track.”
Mourinho is under pressure after a dismal start to the season. The Blues are currently 15th in the league with just 11 points after 10 games and were knocked out of the League Cup today following a defeat against Stoke City.
Eto’o played under Mourinho during his time at Chelsea in the side that finished the UEFA Super Cup as runners up.
The Cameroon international did however, fall out with Mourinho when the Portuguese coach was caught on camera suggesting that Eto’o may be older than his official age.
The former Barcelona star joined Antalyaspor over the summer transfer window and has hit the ground running in Turkey scoring seven goals and providing one assist in nine league games.
Antalyaspor are currently 8th in the league with 14 points after nine games this season.
