Sane returns to Liverpool squad, star midfielder set to return against West Ham with Wijnaldum unlikely to feature

Liverpool take on West Ham at the Olympic Stadium hoping to build upon last weeks 3-0 win over Huddersfield.

The Reds are coming off the back of a mid-week Champions League win over Maribor to top their group.

Jurgen Clop faces an injury crisis heading into the clash with Georginio Wijnaldum (ankle) defender Dejan Lovren (thigh) and playmaker Philippe Coutinho (adductor) all failing to make the provisional squad.

With Wijnaldum unlikely to feature Emre Can is almost certain to return to central midfielder.

Can was dropped last week but did come off the bench.

The midfielder of Turkish origin started in the Champions League, scoring his third goal in the competition this season.
