Liverpool take on Real Madrid in the Champions League final in Kiev, Ukraine tonight.
There was a surprise inclusion in the squad for Jurgen Klopp as Emre Can recovered from a back injury in time to make the bench.
The midfielder of Turkish origin had been out of action since mid-March when he picked up a back problem against Watford.
The 24-year-old also missed being called up for the Germany national side World Cup squad as a result.
Can has however, made a return in what could be his last game for the Reds as he will be a free agent unless he extends his current deal.
Liverpool fans gave a mixed reaction to news that Can had made the bench with some pleased to have him back and others a little cynical about his miraculous recovery ahead of the final.
