Tottenham’s Nabil Bentaleb doubled Algeria’s lead when he scored from 18 yards out.

Trabzonspor defender Carl Medjani played the full 90 minutes against South Africa.

Medjani joined the Black Sea Storm on a free transfer from Monaco in the summer and already has five goals and one assist this season.

The 29-year-old defender has two goals in 37 international caps for Algeria.

Fenerbahçe striker Moussa Sow did not make an appearance for Senegal.
