Galatasaray close in on Bursaspor’s centre back Serdar Aziz

Galatasaray board member Abdürrahim Albayrak had met with Bursaspor President Recep Bölükbaşı to negotiate a price for the 24-year-old but talks stalled after both parties failed to agree a fee.

Fenerbahçe, Trabzonspor and Beşiktaş have all been closely linked with the Turkish international defender as well.

The 24-year-old defender has been a first team regular for Bursaspor this season and scored in Turkey’s Euro 2016 qualifier against Kazakhstan on his international debut last November.

The highly rated centre back has three-years remaining on his contract and is valued in the region of €6 million.

Aziz has made 14 appearances for Bursaspor in the Turkish Super League this season. The Turkish international has made a total of 128 appearances for the Green Crocodiles since rising through the ranks of the youth team to the senior side.
