Serdar Taşçı’s agent denies Galatasaray link

Serdar Taşçı’s agent Ahmet Bulut has denied reports linking his client with a move to Galatasaray.

Bulut spoke to Turkish and Russian reports in Antalya regarding speculation surrounding Taşçı.

“The reports surrounding Serdar are not true. He is happy at Spartak Moscow and is an important member of the team,” Bulut told Ajanspor.

“Serdar has a contract with Spartak until summer 2017.”

The 27-year-old centre back has made 14 appearances for Germany but is eligible to play as a Turkish national in Turkey.

The experienced defender was born in Germany but has Turkish citizenship through his parents.

Taşçı joined Spartak on a £3.5m move from Stuttgart last season and still has two-years left on his contract.

The former Stuttgart player has one goal and provided on assist in 12 league appearances for Spartak Moscow this season.
