Serie A side Torino have joined the race to sign Manchester City’s in-demand defender Jason Denayer.

Leeds United and Celtic have both been closely linked with a move for the Belgium international in recent weeks. Meanwhile, Galatasaray has already agreed personal terms with Denayer.

Meanwhile, Gianluca Di Marzio has reported that Torino are the latest club to join the race to sign Denayer this summer.

Torino finished last season ninth in Serie A and kick off their 2018/19 season this weekend against AS Roma.

Denayer spent last season on-loan with Galatasaray and helped the club lift their 21st Turkish Super Lig title.

The 24-year-old established himself as a first-team regular following Fatih Terim’s appointment as Galatasaray boss. The Turkish tactician has urged club officials to sign Denayer this summer.

Man City are back in action this weekend when they take on Huddersfield. Denayer was left out of Pep Guardiola’s squad which defeated Arsenal last weekend at the Emirates.
