Serie A outfit priced out of move for £90,000 a-week Arsenal star, Turkey move still on cards after club president confirms talks
Serie A outfit Sampdoria have pulled out of the race to sign Arsenal star Jack Wilshere according to Italian news outlet Calciomercato.
Per the source, Sampdoria will not be able to offer Wilshere the wages he is after.
The England international earned around £90,000 a-week which would push the Italian side over their pay cap.
The latest development will come as a boost for Antalyaspor who are keen on the 25-year-old.
Antalyaspor president Ali Safak Ozturk has already confirmed making Arsenal an enquiry and entering talks over Wilshere.

“We made an enquiry and are in talks but Arsenal want a lot for Wilshere,” Ozturk was quoted as saying by Turkish-Football.
“It will be a difficult move to pull off.”
The Gunners high asking price has made the transfer difficult but the Super Lig outfit have yet to pull out of the race.
In fact a second round of talks is expected to be held some time over the next few days.
Arsenal are open to Wilshere leaving this summer and he has not been offered a contract extension despite having just 12 months remaining on his contract.
