Germany suffered a shock 2-1 defeat against neighbours Austria in an international friendly played on Saturday.
Arsenal star Mesut ozil had got into a spot of bother alongside fellow playmaker of Turkish origin Ilkay Gundogan after posing for photos with the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Both appear to have been forgiven by Germany boss Joachim Low as they featured against Austria.
Ozil started for the Germans and got his side off to a great start after opening the scoring on 11 minutes.
