Sherwood Reveals Major Difference Between Man United Outcast Mkhitaryan & Man City Star Gundogan
Former Tottenham player, manager and current football pundit Tim Sherwood has opened up about Manchester United outcast Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
Sherwood revealed on Sky Sports that Mkhitaryan is the one United player Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola would take.
“I think one player who Pep would take out of Manchester United would be Mkhitaryan,” he said on The Debate.
“Without doubt (he’s a Guardiola player), gets the ball, half turn, in the little pockets, drives at people, takes it out to people.”
The Armenian international has fallen out of favour with United manager Jose Mourinho and has been left out of the squad for the last seven games.
Sherwood also compared the winger with Gundogan highlighting the key differences between them.

“He’s a little sharper than Gundogan,” he added.
“I think Gundogan’s a little bit more responsible, sits in there ticks it over.
“But I think he’s more of a maverick type, Mkhitaryan.
When he was at Dortmund he was scary, that’s why every team in the land wanted to have him.
“Now at the moment he’s not getting a game, he’s not even getting in the squad.”
Gundogan scored in his first Premier League start in the 4-1 win over Tottenham last weekend and provided an assist for City in the League Cup win over Leicester City mid-week.
The Citizens are yet to lose in the league this season and sit 11 points clear of their Manchester rivals at the top of the Premier League.
