Diego Simeone plays down Manchester City and PSG talk [divider]
Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone has played down talk that he could be on the verge of quitting the Rojiblancos to join either Manchester City or PSG.
“I feel very good at Atletico. I always want to continue improving, I’m never satisfied. I don’t know what the limit of this team is, I will continue looking,” Simeone told Marca.
“The happiness of completing three years at a club that I love so much is huge. I always think they can get rid of me, (but) I’m only thinking about Malaga.”
Simeone has won the Europa League, the Copa del Rey, UEFA Super Cup and the first La Liga title since 1996.
Atleti also reached the Champions League final under his command.
Simeone helped transform Arda Turan into one of Atleti’s stars, the Turkish international has become an integral part of the Argentinian managers side since joining from Galatasaray.
