“I want to thank the players who are leaving the team because of the effort they put in. The first half did not go as we would have liked but we can only look forwards. We parted ways with four of our players in line with the report of our coach,” Otyakmaz said.

Chrisantus joined Sivasspor on a three-year deal last summer from Spanish second division side Las Palmas.

Sivasspor are currently in 16th place in the Süper Lig and recently parted ways with head coach Roberto Carlos.

Sergen Yalçın has replaced the former World Cup winner and is undefeated in his last two games.
