Sky Sport reporters reveals latest update on Emre Can’s Liverpool FC situation

Sky Sport Italia reporter Ghilda Pensante has revealed the latest regarding Liverpool midfielder Emre Can’s link to Juventus.

The 24-year-old is expected to leave the Merseyside based club this summer after failing to extend his contract. Can’s current deal with Liverpool expires at the end of the month.

Juventus have been closely linked with Emre Can since last summer and Sky Sport Italia reporter Pensante has claimed that he is on the brink of penning a deal with the Serie A giants.

“We are saying the contract should be signed very soon,” Pensante told Sky Sports Transfer Talk podcast

“His versatility means he will perfectly fit at Juventus. He will be adapt to any system of play. Can can be very versatile and a good player for Allegri next season.”

Can has been free to hold talks with foreign clubs since January.

The 24-year-old missed Liverpool’s victories over Manchester City and AS Roma in the UEFA Champions League due to a back injury. Can did return in time for the final but only featured for ten minutes.

The Germany international registered five assists and scored six goals in 38 appearances for Liverpool this season.
